Thanks Jean Paul,

I am glad BCTN is progressing and will soon be holding a strategic plan
workshop. The areas you have suggested are great focus points for a start,
and I think the fewer they are the better.

However before all this it would be a good idea to conduct a baseline survey
on the telecentre needs in Burundi, so that your plan is informed and
responds to actual needs of the telecentre community in your country.

Also....

 1. Sensitization of active and potential partners to multiply telecentres
initiatives in Burundi;
Just to stress here that ensuring that your goverment is involved as a major
partner in this journey, since this is where enabling policy will emerge.
Also good will from government will see telecentre networks achieve their
goals in supporting telecentres nationally.

2. Emproving capacities for telecentres practitionners;
This is quite broad and you may need to be more specific, areas such as the
BPO Sector, E-waste management, Telecentre management in general etc
are essential.

All the best, lets read from others as well.

Regards

Cleopa.
