The twining concept that you started with Ben is a winning model. It will
definitely continue after his demise. I can only share with you what we in
the Catholic Faith believe, that once a good person passes on, he is
transformed to an angle who is forever present with you.
Know my bother that Ben is with you more than he was able to be in life,
strive to achieve all that you shared, for his spirit will support your in
mightier ways than he has done in life.
However, as humans, we want and love to chat and laugh with the ones we love
so we condole you and the Mr. Wauman's family. May you have strength during
this time of bereavement.

* It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Mr. Ben Waumans
the
great man of Eindhoven and the founder of GDCO was passed away last
Wednesday 11th November (67 years). I call him last week inquiring about
his health but the phone was answered by his son . on behave of GDCO and its
partners specially Gedaref university,,, and on behave of Gedaref state
community and on behave of all the disabled I would like to show our deep
condolences to his family and to his colleagues in the Digital City of
Eindhoven also to the great people of Eindhoven .. Specially Dr. Agnes and
Gedaref volunteers in Eindhoven . my condolences to Gedaref state community
who benefit from the partnership between GDCO and DSE ,,, also to the
disabled all over Sudan who learn how to communicate with their families
through the internet our condolences to the Telecentre movement for missing
a great hero who help Sudan to join this movement . *
*Ben Waumans was born in 1942 in Koewacht, Netherlands where he grew up. He
attended university in Eindhoven. After university Ben joined Philips
Electronics in various functions: researcher, development engineer, plant
manager and board member at Philips research. After his retirement Ben
worked as independent advisor for organizations as Eindhoven University and
Medea. Besides his advisor activities Ben worked in various projects:
chairman of Digital City Eindhoven, Chairman of Terre de Hommes Helmond,
memberof the advisory board of the ANWB and chairman of the Belgian Dutch
Federation. Ben passed away in 2009 at the age of 67.*

SuNTA). GDCO is the winner of information for development award i4d e-India
2007,,, also the winner of i4d 2008 awards for the best innovations at the
grassroots Telecentre,,,, It is the winner of i4d 2009 awards for civil
societies initiatives for development,,,, GDCO has 4 internet websites in
Arabic,,, Dutch, English and the fourth is in UN-ESCWA,,, also it Has more
than 150 links and blogs and 500 pictures,,, GDCO has strong partnership
with Digital City of Eindhoven,,, DSE donated 750 computers and established
10 development e-projects.
