Thanks Peter for the response,
we have been having a problem with our connection, however, Peter thanks very much for your response and information about the source of knowledge.
To answer your question though, we have a goal and our target group is the youths. who are in school.
about the content, dont know if we hava all it takes that is why i used the pool of knowledge on the mailing list. i will have to attend the workshop organised by school net to get ideas about the same.
once again i thank you

Your Idea is good but what is your objectives and whom are you targeting for the
Club is it the Youth or the general Community.
Secondly do you have the content that meets their needs if yes then it will be
much easier for you to have a club with a goal.
and if Not please first contact School Net - Uganda for some School based
content or attend their forthcoming workshop at Kyambogo which will take place
from 11th to 15th May it is free entry.
I wish you all the best

Hullo Telecentre practitioners,
I am in need of your advice. I have seen many community and commercial radio
stations form listeners’ clubs(which has in return worked out in their favour)
UDS telecentre does not have a radio but has internet and would like to
initiate internet clubs. We hope that this will spread internet and computer
usage in our community, people will be able to use internet for development, and
accessing donors among other benefits instead of only using it for sending and
receiving mails.
Against this background therefore, I am seeking your advice on how to form a
functional internet club while students are on holiday.
UDS telencetre will be glad for your response.
Thanks
