Thanks, Charles.

I guess, colleagues from respective countries will find time to follow-up as required.

Hi Meddie,
Thank you for this mail and reminding me to check on possible partnership for capacity development for community radio operators in local content/ programming. This is a major objective for AMARC and they mobilized a few partners who are willing to support in this area.
The partners work in many African countries and can be accessed from their country offices. The partners that were present and would support on this are:
  * FAO - On issues of climate change
  * Common wealth of learning - on HIV/AIDS treatment literacy
  * AdoptAfrica - on climate change.
  * Radio Netherlands - on governace issues.

AMARC are also having a capacity building programme funded by CIDA and would be working with 6 radio stations from 5 countries
in Africa. The beneficiary countries for AMARC project are
Kenya, Ghana, Ivory coast, South Africa, Siera Leone and Zambia.
The project will be working towards producing ten radio series of HIV/ AIDS in Africa for the first one year, water and sanitation and governance issues for the second and third year respectively.

AMARC have also resolved to strengthen countries network and I think this is a bigger opportunity for us to explore how to benefit from this.

Thanks once again.

Best Regards
