For the past 90 years, Save the Children Canada has been working in Canada
and overseas to bring immediate and lasting improvements to children's lives
through the realization of their rights. It is a non-political,
non-religious organization committed to long-term development at the
grassroots level through partnerships with local communities, government
bodies and international organizations. As Save the Children we fight for
children's rights and deliver immediate and lasting improvements to
children's lives worldwide. Save the Children Canada is a member of the
International Save the Children Alliance. 

 

Kenya is one of our programming countries where we implement projects to
address the short and long-term development issues. We have been working in
long-term development projects in Kenya since 1984, as well as addressing
the emergency whenever the need arise. Our work ranges from education, HIV
and AIDS support and awareness-raising, support to IDP communities to food
security responses. We work closely with communities, children, local
governments, and community-based aid agencies. 

 

Currently, Save the Children Canada is hiring a position for the Finance and
Administration Manager. This position is Nairobi based, requiring travels to
the project areas as and when necessary. Please find attached the Job
Description for the position. We encourage you to circulate this within your
network.
