Greetings from the International Council for Adult Education (ICAE).

ICAE is glad to announce the launching of the call for applications of the
Francophone ICAE Academy of Lifelong Learning Advocacy (IALLA) to be held
in Bamako, Mali, from October 3 to 13, 2009

The aim of this intensive course is to give emerging leaders in adult
learning and social movement activists the opportunity to empower
themselves and acquire the skills to advocate for and support adult
learning and education for all.
Our objective is to help them generate a broader vision of adult education
and lifelong learning within the framework of human rights, developing
linkages with the most important globalization issues that are currently
affecting the world.

The deadline to submit applications is July 26, 2009. Therefore, we would
really appreciate it if you could disseminate widely this call among your
colleagues, friends, members, partners, and potential francophone
candidates. Good command of the french language is a must. See letter of
invitation below (call for applications and application form are attached).
