The second edition of e-mpower Africa newsletter is due out by 25th January
2010. The first issue, (October to December 2009) was well received by the
readership.

Kindly send your stories, analysis and photographs to
damas at kenyatelecentres.org or cleopa at kenyatelecentres.org not later than
Monday 18th, January 2010. Also send your comments on areas for improvement
of the newsletter to the same address.

ECA run a successful workshop on 'knowledge sharing and networking' last
week. You will find the news brief at

The first issue of the network's online newsletter was launched during the
workshop jointly by H.E. Dr Bitange Ndemo, Permanent Secretary Ministry of
Information and Communication of the Republic of Kenya and Ms Aida
Opoku-Mensah, Director ICT Science and Technology Division of UNECA. Pls
also find attached the first issue for your information.
