Hello friends,
eAtlas is a global network of researchers in social sciences interested by
the impact of the Information Society on local communities. How do
communities adapt them and how do they integrate ICTs in their local
development programs.
eAtlas doesnt consider itself as a pure scientific research project. The
project is articulated on the partnership between the academic world and
different practitioners in the field of ICT for Development ( Government,
NGOs and private sector)
In 2007, eAtlas has organised the first workshop dedicated to ICT,
Governance and Local Development
>From December 7th to 9th 2009, e Atlas will be organising the its second
meeting in BAMAKO ( Mali). The main theme is : Localising the
Information society : Role of NGOs in social appropriation of ICTs in
West African Territories
During the meeting, one parallel workshop is dedicated to the use of web
2.0 by NGOs for local governance and development.
In this workshop, I intend to present shortly the use by regional
telecentre practitioners ( East Africa)of the differents tools available
on ugabytes.org as a platform for collaboration, experience exchange,
mutual assistance, etc
Any suggestion in term statistical data or else ?
I am just thinking of what aspects must be included in my presentation.
Any suggestions ?
Sincerely
--
