Dear Francis

Thanks for v useful summary of the AKN discussion. But must just make 2
amendments: my initial question was not to question links with OKN as such,
cvonsidering that OKN is already closed down, but to wonder whether the
LESSONS of OKN - both positive and negative - had been studied and were being
applied in the new project. The "not re-inventing the wheel" issue. And later
on in yr summary, on the same lines, the fear was that AKN would NOT reap
lessons from other experiences.
