Related question:
Is there any initiative using SMS to broadcast/share information in a similar development arena that we should learn from? I have heard of Peter Benjamin's project in South Africa - using SMS for health issues. Recently, there was a major event in South Africa on cellular and development - organised by SANGONeT (Dean, Zimbabwe is one of those who attended). I suggest that, we dig in deeper on this.
Any leads?

Hi Collegues,
I think the idea of incorporating SMSs with the platforms already in place would be a great idea as mobile phones are the most essential means of communication, provide instant access and people stay connected all the time.
Also we do need to discuss on the possibility on having resources from the three major supportcentres namely (English - http://www.ugabytes.org/supportcentre, French - http://www.fetema.org/aideenligne, Portuguese - http://www.caicc.org.mz/faq
) share their resources. This would enrich the databases of our supportcentres in their respective languages.
the only issue now is how to convert from e.g portugesse to french and the other way round, french to english and so and so froth. Should we have somebody conversant with all the three languages to do periodic coversions, a software maybe !
What is your take on this issue?
