Mr. Bwete Lazarus Sentuma is the Sub-County chief of Kawolo
Sub-county, a quiet, agricultural centre made of eight parishes and a
population of slightly over thirty one thousand people. He has been
in local administration for twelve years now rising through the ranks
and has seen the raise of the internet and now thinks it is time that
its use is also effected into local government administration in
Uganda.

He was speaking to Sandra Nansali and Francis Mwathi from his office
in the sub county headquarters during a UgaBYTES initiatives Gender
Evaluation Research (GEM for Telecentres) visit to Kawolo Telecenter
in Lugazi District, a few miles east of Kampala.
