Firstly I too want to congratulate Damas on the local conflict resolution initiative under way, and wish it all success.

I also wanted to make a comment on the situation in Kenya as seen from Mozambique, but have just seen Ngugi's statement on the BBC website and I think it says it all much better than I could!
