[UgaBYTES] Anastasia | passing of a telecentre friend

Really sad.

I vividly remember her enthusiasm on one of my visits to Nakaseke telecentre a couple years ago. She was a true champion for ICT in rural communities and made light of her very old age as she went about demo what she learned. Anastasia understood that for other seniors to join and use ICT, she had to provide leadership. The telecentre community will miss her fondly.

Dear Friends,

To all of you who knew Anastasia from the CD Rom project or Nakaseke Telecentre, she passed away this morning at 11.30am.

We shall dearly miss her but we also celebrate her life. she was a real model on how ICTs can turnaround and give hope to the life of a poor woman deep in the village.

May her soul rest in eternal peace
