[UgaBYTES] Nakeseke Problem addressed

Dear Collegues,

On Thursday last week the Management committee of Nakaseke Telecentre
decised "NOT" to accept Peter Balaba's resignation with a promise to improve
the working conditions of the seasoned manager and his team. The management
committee meeting that had over 14 members present also agreed to offer the
manager a 2 weeks' leave out of the country while the irritating environment
gets reorganized.

The UgaBYTES secretariat has been following the matter closely and continues
with the interest to avert the recent wave of resignation of telecentre
managers due to poor working conditions. However, at this stage I would like
to appreciate the Managers and other telecentre practitioners who have been
of support during Peter's problem - the success is only one of the
demonstrations of our togetherness and the vision of the future.
